Here's how to change the tank background:
- Open Dream Aquarium
- Bring up the menu (right mouse click)
- Click on ‘Aquarium Settings’
- Click on ‘Change Background’
- Navigate to the folder where you have saved the background images and choose the one you want.
Dream Aquarium version 2 is still at the Beta release stage and the background installation procedure is slightly different,
Here's how to do it:
- First, if you haven't done so yet unzip the files from the download you've purchased into a folder on your computer's hard drive, and make a note of where you've put them.
Then:
- Open Dream Aquarium
- Bring up the menu (right mouse click or menu icon)
- Click on 'Aquarium Settings'
- Click on 'Change Backdrop'
- Choose the Custom Image tab
- Choose New Image
- Navigate to the folder where you have saved the background images and choose the one you want.
You can use the background in a 'plain' tank, or as a background to the rock tank or mossy tank. When you use the rock tank or mossy tank the fish will interact with the 3D rocks, giving a better 3D effect. And don't forget that there's a blurred version of each tank to give a more 3D bokeh effect.
