Why, when I try and open a single line handwriting font svg file it is a blank page?

SVG font files are different to normal TrueType font files and most computers won’t recognise them as fonts. This is because SVG files are XML files and more often used to describe images, and most modern browsers see an SVG file as an image file. However, if you try and view an SVG file in a browser you may just see a blank page. Similarly, both the Windows and Mac operating systems see SVG files as browser files and associate them with the browser you are using, possibly making you think that your SVG file is a web browser file. Our single line SVG fonts are designed to work in Inkscape with the Hershey Text and Bantam Tools NextDraw Merge Inkscape Extensions. Please see our user guide at https://www.quantumenterprises.co.uk/handwriting-fonts/help-single-line.htm for more information about single line fonts and how to use them.
