I'm having problems paying using PayPal - what should I do?

PayPal, like many Internet-based services, sometimes has problems with the sheer volume of people using it. This can reduce its speed and make it seem like it is not responding. If this seems to be the case, try again an hour or so later, perhaps when there are likely to be fewer people online.

If you have already created a PayPal account, PayPal will expect you to use it. It will not allow you to make a credit card payment as if you didn't already have an account. However, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT YOU CAN MAKE A PURCHASE WITH A CREDIT CARD, AND DO NOT NEED TO OPEN A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE.

If PayPal is rejecting your credit card information, please make absolutely sure you are entering the correct information. Make sure that your credit card is one of the recognised major cards. Check that your card has not expired and enter the details that match those on the card.

If you are still unable to resolve the problem, and cannot pay by another method, please contact PayPal directly.
